This page are differs from the 2023-2025 version because of the incident:
The new page are pending, and until my laziness will resolve and I will start to actually mind critically, the page looks like... you see it right now, didn't ya?
Additionally, this page also corelates to the FluxDrop - the my own file sharing and storage thing that works on my own infrastructure, and it's FOSS. You can reach the service there:
You can also check the server's "health" and other stats there:
Notes about FluxDrop: currently it's under heavy development and are not recommended to use as primary storage for any files because:
a. The HDD in the server have end-of-life state, and without any financial support I can't do anything with it
b. The server may have problems in code that can lead to file corruptions or lost
Otherwize - the FluxDrop will actually allow for anyone to register the account to use it fully - the email is required and will be used for the confirmation link. After registration - you can modify your profile further (e.g. profile picture), upload and download files, create folders, share folders and files, delete the folders and files, and so on.The FluxDrop are inspired by CatBox, and in the future - some percentage from the financials will be queried to the CatBox donations (hence it's more reliable and better that this half-proprietary thing called FluxDrop)
The payment system and the pricings will be made after the FluxDrop will be more finished and polished (e.g. in ~2027)
After all, I need to mention this: THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.
For testing purposes (e.g. live test before usage, until FluxDrop will have that feature without credentials), you can use next credentials:
login: testprofile
passw: supersecurepassword
The GitHub repository for the whole server (including this page) and FluxDrop: https://github.com/ArsenijN/server
I sincerely recommend to read the README and TODO files in the repo (optionally from the `dev` branch) to understand the current work-in-progress things, things to be fixed in some time, things that is noticed and etc. The issue tracker usage are welcome
(Any prohibited use of the public testing account or open APIs will lock down the account and will wipe all the files from it and additionally may block and report (to govermental structures) the IP address that did that. Do not use the FluxDrop and any server's APIs for malicious purposes.
